tatata.

               Ceramics, 2021
This product line got born out of a desire for more ‘soul’ in our daily encounters. As we have become more and more used to handling objects produced without human touch, physical energy or focused attention, I was eager to replace this soul I felt we had lost. Striving to slow-create high quality ceramic products, carefully handcrafted with undivided attention, tatata is not only about the physicality of the objects, but also about the energy they have been created with. The name tatata. is derived from a Buddhist philosophy meaning the ‘suchness’ of life. A state of acceptance where we trespass the duality of the mind, beyond good/bad and beautiful/ugly.
